COP-12 coverage - Reporter's diary

Updates from Down To Earth magazine's reporter at Nairobi, Kenya for the year's biggest climate change event COP-12/MOP-2.

We bring a perspective on climate change negotations from developing countries.

The meeting's hot topics are the nature of mandatory green house gas emission targest after the Kyoto Protocol's first commitment period ends in 2012, and an adaptation fund (what is?) to help developing countries adapt to the negative consequences of climate change.
